1985 LeSharo by Winnebago, 21'RV that rides 8 and sleeps 4, has generator, stove, refrigerator, shower, etc. It originally had gas engine with auto transmission, with about 70K miles on it, was drivable in good condition when I bought it specifically for conversion. (I don't have the original engine or transmission any more, I do have the original rack and pinion ($150 Ð NOT part of this auction.)

To create reliable, powerful, economical and easy serviceable (95% US made parts) RV. 
Ê
Conversion is done by leaving the original Renault suspension and manufacturing custom drive shafts to connect to Chrysler transmission. Steering is being a problematic part or Renault platform is also replaced with Chrysler (Caravan 2000) steering rack by manufacturing adapters to connect it to original front wheel hubs. Also new engine cradle was manufactured, new engine compartment components, custom Chrysler based steering column, custom pedals and custom harness wiring blending Chrysler engine and body control with Winnebago coach electrical system.Ê Coach part was also inspected, fixed improved and fully reconditioned.

The car is in a running condition. It has about 1K miles of test driving. Odometer is not reset to keep track of original engine miles.

Rear suspension is cleaned, anti rust painted. New shocks are installed, rear bearings are checked and lubricated, helper springs installed, new calipers installed, brake line cleaned, brake pads/rotors checked or replaced.

Front suspension is cleaned, rust protected painted, front calipers rebuild, bearing checked, lubricated, 2 brake lines replaced (2 others are in a good condition), brake pads, disks checked or replaced, adjustable spring extensions are installed.
Miscellaneous suspension rubber parts installed or replaced (see pictures) 
NEW master brake cylinder is installed
New (now 1K miles) tires (KUMHO 857) set of 5

Engine
Engine cradle is manufactured to allow new engine to be mounted quickly using original 4 bolt frame connection with added 4 bolt rear cross member connection
Special dolly with jacks is manufactured to allow easy one/two person engine installation (will be included if I can find it in storage)

Engine was inspected, cleaned, front and rear seals, valve gaskets, water pump, water pump gasket, oil pan gasket, etc. changed. Spark plugs, and wires, oil filter, transmission filter, transmission gasket changed. All belts changed. Engine harness and all electrical connectors, cleaned, reinsulated (see pictures). ÊElectrically, engine and transmission can be easily disconnected using 5(combined into1) connectors (see picture).

Engine is internally cleaned by using special solvent on running engine. (One of the lifters is SOME TIMES noisy. As a non critical item, I was planning to change all the lifters during preventive engine overhaul in 50K miles).

New custom axels are manufactured to fit Chrysler transmission on one end and Renault wheel hubs on another. It is professionally machined (NOT WELDED!) from high grade steel and heat treated.

Fuel tank, cleaned, gasket changed, fuel lines replaced, fuel filter changed, main fuel intake tube replaced, fuel sending unit replaced with Chrysler sender and calibrated.

All hardware used in drive train is grade 8 steel.

Electrical
Drive train is controlled by several computer modules (engine, transmission, body computer) and other standard Chrysler systems. Harness is redone to allow full engine operation as well as other components such as AC/heater/lights/etc. Some unneeded wiring was removed (airbag, and antilock system for example) and few provisional wired left for the future upgrades. Electrical components are checked and replaced as needed (new alternator). New battery installed

Most of the systems are in working order including lights, turn signals, instrument cluster, fuel, temp, speedometer, tachometer, and warning lights, door, brake switches, heater fan control, windshield wipers control, illumination, etc., etc.. .

Cabin air conditioning need to be hooked up (electrical is done, but Freon system needs adapters to Chrysler compressor). Coach AC is operational but not cold, may need recharging. Windshield has crack in it, may required replacement by local law.
