lesharo heater bleeding Hello Terry, This is the Procedure for bleeding the cooling system on your LeSharo Or Phasar. Make sure that the rear heater valve is open (the pull handle all the way out) Move the heater control lever on the dash to hot (heater valve open) There is an air bleeder valve on the right side of the heater core about all the way to the top, open this valve. Fill the system with as much coolant as you can. Keep the coolant bottle high, it helps feed the coolant in. There is a bleeder valve on some of the upper radiator hoses and you can open this one until coolant comes out of it, then close. At this point I use a coolant pressure checker to pressurize the cooling system until only coolant comes out of the bleeder in the heater core. If you do not have a cooling system pressure checker or the adapter for the coolant bottle skip this step but it takes a little longer on the next step. After the cooling system is full and the coolant cap is on, start the engine and bleed air out of the system via the air bleeder on the heater core until only water comes out. Stop the engine and fill the coolant bottle if it becomes empty. After the engine is cooled down check and fill the coolant bottle to the proper cold coolant level.
