RE: Handicapping a LeSharo Has anyone set up a LeSharo with any handicap options? My main concerns are the bathroom seat, which is very low and grab bars for getting into the coach and in and out of seats. Take a look at the manual on the commode. There is a tall version and a short version. Check to see which one you have. We have the short version. If we replace it with the tall version will the rest of the bathroom componets still work? Don't know, only other things are the sink and the shower head. Should work. Anyone else in the group have any ideas? Hi all- On the subject of the low toilet common in the Lesharo, we replaced ours with the tall version (the best thing we ever did to our 83 Lesharo). There were two things we had to do to make it all work: 1. We had to reposition the mounting ring before installing the new taller toilet 2. The wall cover behind the toilet was removed and a wooden brace was installed about 1" above top of toilet (lid closed)and about 1/2"back from original location of wall cover. This allowed a screw to be installed in center of wall cover to prevent toilet lid from rubbing on the back wall. We used a snap and cover on the screw to make it look original. the only drawback is the toilet lid overlaps the sink by about 1-1/2". This has not been a problem as the lid stays up when it should.
