Subject: Re: house battery Hi All, I understand that the house battery has been relocated successfully on some units as follows: Replace the existing engine battery with a smaller physical size, taking up about half of the existing battery shelf under the hood. Cut the engine side lip on the battery shelf and bend the unoccupied section flat. Bend the windshield washer bracket flat. Install the new house battery perpendicular to the engine battery on the same shelf. I was told by a Winnebago trained mechanic that this conversion works very well and is not difficult to perform.
